You Will Get Chemo and You WILL Like It
When the subject is abortion, many people take up the position that ownership of one's body is fundamental, as in "It's my body." But what about other situations?
Officials in one Minnesota county are trying to compel a 13-year old boy to undergo chemotherapy. The family objects to the treatment on religious grounds, but a judge has decided to overrule God–or at least one family's understanding of God. To make the story interesting, the family is not fundamentalist Christian or Christian Scientist; it's Native American.
