Recomended Reading for Putative Health Reformers
While state health care reform commissions labor mightly to put into practice the unworkable health plans cooked up by various foundations dedicated to having the U.S. health system imitate the Canadian, British, and European failures, the Council for Affordable Health Insurance has issued “Small Steps to Big Reform,” an admirable guide to simple reforms likely to lead to big results.
Health reform commission budgets can top $1,000,000. This little paper is free, and better than most of the grandiose plans endorsed by the putative health reformers thrown up by the political process.
