In a press conference following the Senate vote on Saturday night, Senator Chris Dodd assured us, “Before this journey is over, we will have passed National Health Care Coverage for all Americans.”
During his same comments Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., echoed those sentiments later in the evening when he referred to Kennedy’s “lifelong quest” for national health care and said “tonight and in the days to come we will pay him the highest compliment by fulfilling that” goal.
Was this a slip of the tongue for Senator Dodd? Did he reveal to us what we believed we already knew? Most of us Americans are convinced the goal is to have all health care under government control.
The 2,074-page bill, H.R. 3590, would destroy private health insurance just the same as the bill that passed in the House two weeks ago on 07 November. Both bills would tax and regulate private health care insurance coverage to the extent that private heath care insurance could not survive.
President Obama has said he favors a single payer health care plan for the citizens. So do all on the Progressive Left. Controlling our health care gives them full control over us and all aspects of our lives.
