About State House Call

Nobody is more concerned about your health than you. Yet numerous advocacy groups, businesses, government bureaucracies, and politicians have succeeded in having control-too much control-over your health care. Some of them won’t be satisfied until politicians and bureaucrats control health care through a single, tax-funded, politically-shaped health care system. StateHouseCall.org is here to say that there is a better way.

Our authors include policy experts who believe that economic incentives, combined with personal authority, will enhance the political, economic, and physical health of our states and our citizens. Many of us work in state-focused policy organizations, some work with organizations of a national scope, while others are citizens who go about our daily lives as “consumers” of public policy. But we share one purpose on this site: to expose the limits of centralized health care, and explain the benefits of decentralized, patient-powered care.
